SAPE Links in 2018

Hello guys and girls and it’s been a while since I made my last post but hopefully I will be finding more time to write on the blog and give more tips to you. I will really appreciate if you share this article and comment bellow it.

What Metrics Should We Look After?

So, the most looked after metric about backlinks in general in 2018 is links with traffic. Since Google hid the PageRank from public access many different metrics have been rotated and been sword after by SEO. It was the Majestic Trust flow, Moz DA/PA, Ahrefs rank and now has come the time for links that have traffic. The assumption is that bots will crawl more those backlinks and let search engines know about your site.

Having said that I have a little bit more enhanced approach to all this hype and mine is the amount of content written to a page. If you don’t have tools and you are using the web interface of sape.ru it will be really hard for you to filter the links. That’s why I use a special tool that uses SAPE.ru API to harvest for links from the database and then filter them.

Top 3 Most Important Metrics That I Use for SAPE Links

  1. Indexed in Google – if the link is not indexed in Google is worth nothing.
  2. Alexa Rank – any link with traffic is better than any other link without it.
  3. Text Size – the amount of text on page, the bigger the text size the better.

SAPE Internal Rank (IR)

Google PageRank (PR) was the main metrics that SEOs used for their link building purposes. Unfortunately, on April 18th 2016 Google blocked access to pagerank data to the public. They still have it but it’s blocked to the public.  The last time Google PageRank was publicly updated on December 6, 2013.

What did PR reflect and how should it be used?

The value of PR reflected the significance of the page which was calculated from the backlinks reference from other websites on the Internet.

  • The higher the PR the better;
  • The fewer outbound links the better;
  • It was possible to transfer a greater value of PageRank weight to the promoted page and, thereby, to increase its position in the search.

Internal Rank – the revival of PageRank. Today SAPE.ru with the consulting help and support of the agency “Pixel Plus”, offers the full replacement of Google PageRank as an Internal Rank metric, which is available in the site search interface.

The main differences between SAPE’s Internal Rank and Google’s PR are that the metric is calculated only by the referred internal links and is not rounded to integer values (as was done with PR value).

In fact, this metric allows you to quickly find the most important pages on a website and place your links with them.

Advantages of donor pages with higher Internal Rank value:

  • Faster indexing of your link in Google;
  • Transferring link juice (PR value) to your website;
  • You get a backlink from a webpage with real value;
  • Last but not least – increasing the position of your site in the search results.

The ratio of the metrics between Internal Rank and PageRank according to the logarithmic table:

You can experiment by using the SAPE IR metric and see how much it will help you getting quality SAPE links. I personally tried it twice so far. In one of the cases had much success in the other nothing significant. Trial and error is the best way to know. I haven’t found any big differences when compare links with Internal Rank and those with Trust Flow.
